In an attempt to be as transparent as possible, we are providing a comparison of Wayne Township Taxes to the rest of Mifflin County. No one likes paying taxes but unfortunately they are a necessity. We work very hard to keep our taxes as low as possible which becomes more difficult from year to year. We currently have no plans of any tax increase. As the economy dictates how far our resources can be stretched, there most likely will come a day when an increase has to happen. We will not address that until it becomes an extreme necessity and then an unpopular decision will have to be made. As for now, we are able to function at our current tax rates.
