Code Enforcement Officer
The Wayne Township, Mifflin County, Supervisors are seeking qualified applicants for a part time Code Enforcement Officer position. Duties may include but not restricted to Investigating complaints regarding potential violations of Township ordinances, issuing written warnings, notices of violations, and compliance orders. The officer will prepare and file citations when authorized and coordinate with Township Officials, Solicitor, SEO, and Law Enforcement as necessary.
Qualifications include but not restricted to high school diploma or equivalent, ability to interpret Township ordinances and apply them consistently, interact professionally with the public in potentially confrontational situations, and have a valid PA driver’s license. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
