Established by the Wayne Township Supervisors in 2024, the Wayne Township Advisory Recreation Board is dedicated to serving the residents of Wayne Township by organizing year round events. The board can consist of 5,7,or 9 residents that are appointed by the supervisors. They function as an advisory board enabling the supervisors to accomplish more on behalf of the township residents. Open to the public monthly meetings are held to decide and plan for township events. All plans and expenditures must be approved by the board of supervisors at their regularly scheduled public meeting.
